Overview
Cumaru is also called Brazilian Teak which grows in Brazil and other south American countries. It varies in colour from a medium tan brown to a reddish brown or purplish brown with light yellowish brown or purplish streaks. The timber is extremely hard and durable. Unlike most other woods, Cumaru’s color tends to lighten with exposure to light.
